Piha & Karekare

yesterday i went to Piha and Karekare, just west of Auckland. Piha is famous with it's black sand. it's a dangerous place too. The rip currents are very unpredictable. They claim many lives despite the efforts of surf live-savers. most of these drownings, however, occur after lifeguards are off duty or after rock fisherman wearing heavy clothing are washed off rocks, out of sight of the lifeguards.

the weather was not really good but nice for black n white pictures. i think i like black and white pictures now because there will be only two colours; black and white. the journey took about 45mins from the university. as a whole, i really enjoyed the trip and i had a very long day full of joy.=P. i made new friends too. enjoy the pics.
